Hi, I’m Julie, and I’m so happy you’re here.

For more than 25 years, I've had the joy of photographing families, children, professionals, women, and plenty of four-legged friends throughout Chicago's North Shore. I truly can't imagine doing anything else.

If you're worried about being in front of the camera, you're in good company. Almost everyone tells me they're awkward, uncomfortable, or "not photogenic." My favorite thing is proving them wrong.

You don't need to know how to pose or where to put your hands—that's my job. I'll guide you every step of the way so you can relax, laugh, and actually enjoy the experience. Before long, you'll forget the camera is even there.

What I love most isn't just creating beautiful  authentic photographs—it's watching people light up when they see themselves. I love helping women rediscover their confidence and see themselves the way everyone else already does: beautiful, strong, and worthy of being celebrated. I love the laughter, hugs, and little in-between moments that make families uniquely theirs. I love creating headshots that feel approachable, polished, and genuinely you. And yes...I absolutely love photographing dogs. They have the best personalities and never worry about getting their good side.

My sessions are relaxed, fun, and filled with plenty of encouragement (and probably a few laughs). Whether we're in my Highland Park studio, at the beach, in the park, or at your favorite spot, my goal is always the same: to create an experience you'll enjoy just as much as the photographs themselves.

The best compliment I can receive is when someone tells me, "That was so much easier—and so much more fun—than I expected."

I believe the photographs you surround yourself with matter. They remind you of the people you love, the season of life you're in, and the moments that are worth holding onto. My hope is that every portrait we create brings a smile to your face every time you walk by it.
