These are women who have accomplished great things, still have audacious dreams and made their way in the world despite obstacles and set backs. They are survivors, care-givers, dreamers, go-getters and powerful beyond measure. They are regular women like you and me. They are warriors who stand up for what they believe in. They are protective of their tribe, got –your- back kind of women and they deserve to be photographed and celebrated.

How much does it cost?

To participate, I am offering 50 over 50 Special promotion package for just $299. The total value is $650.

What does it include?

As one of the wonderful participants in this experience you will receive the following:

A styling and wardrobe consultation before your photoshoot to discuss how you dream of being photographed, how you want your hair styled and wardrobe options.
* Professional hair and makeup the day of your photoshoot (you will want to plan a night out afterwards because you will look amazing!!)
A fully guided photoshoot in my studio. I will pose you down to the last finger- don’t worry I’ve got you. I can take 10 pounds off you simply by posing! This is what I’m great at!!
An 8×10 portrait.
A private image reveal and ordering appointment where you can choose your complimentary print and order more if you wish (trust me you are going to want to).
Your photos will be posted on social media to celebrate you.
A gallery style celebration to show off your image.

Who can take part in the experience?

Anyone who is 50+ and wants to be seen and heard! So often as women we are taking care of others and neglecting time for us. We each have a unique vision, experience and story to tell and the world needs to hear yours! Let’s come out of the shadows, ladies. And even if you are a business owner who is front and center, you are multifaceted and much more than just a worker bee. Let’s show the world how women over 50 are a force to be seen and heard.

Anyone who has already had a photoshoot with me will tell you how empowering it is. I make you feel comfortable every step of the way.

I would love to have a representation of ALL kinds of women: different ethnicities, sizes, shapes, backgrounds, and cultures. Let’s create a multicultural and diverse exhibition of women. Are you in?

What if I’m not photogenic?

Ok, let’s get this out of the way right here. First of all, you are beautiful. How do I know? Because beauty comes from within. It’s the light that’s already glowing inside you. I’m going to bring that light to the surface and let everyone see it. Secondly, being “photogenic” is a myth. It’s all about using the best light, proper posing, and genuine expressions. I specialize in modern, authentic portraits and I can give that to you too.

What if I need to lose weight first before I sign up?

When have you last seen a picture of yourself that you love? Really love. Has it been 10 years? Back on your wedding day? A quick candid someone took at a get together? Listen to me: your weight is the least interesting thing about you. I can take 10 lbs off you just with posing alone! (no kidding). Trust me, let’s focus on making you feel and look amazing. You deserve these portraits. And your family doesn’t care what size you are. They love you just the way you are.

I’m nervous about having someone do my makeup. What if I don’t like it?

I work with a professional makeup artist, Traci (that’s her, in the first picture below), and she’s the best at listening to exactly what you want. We even have visual guides here at the studio to show you, so you and Traci are on the same page. She specializes in camera ready makeup. She knows exactly the right application to help you look great on camera – including turning up the volume on your eye makeup and adding beautiful definition to your eyes with lash extensions. She also knows what NOT to do. For example, she would never use the day-to-day products that would make you look shiny or shimmery, because on camera that would read as greasy. Instead she uses pro products that make your skin appear flawless on camera. If you’ve seen the images on my website, 100% of these women have benefited from using the services of our pro makeup artist. Traci is excellent at changing anything you don’t like before we start photographing you.

I don’t have anything to wear for a photoshoot!

Before your shoot, we will have a consultation to discuss how you dream of being photographed. Dressy? Casual? Boudoir? (don’t worry, we won’t be using any boudoir images for the exhibit!). But the point is, you’ll be able to bring up to 4 different looks. I will guide you so you choose clothing that looks fabulous on you and photographs well. Most women have items in their closet that would work just fine. You can even rent some amazing gowns and looks from Rent the Runway. I also have a studio wardrobe you can peek in to see if something catches your eye. Have a great hat you’d love to wear? Bring it! We will have such a fun time!

Can I share this photoshoot with my family?

Yes, of course! For family members who require hair and makeup (kids under 7 and men are complimentary) there is an additional charge of $100. Feel free to claim this all for yourself though!
